Welcome to Sunday School

Our purpose is to teach our children how to be the hands and feet of Jesus while growing in their faith.  This is our 5th year using a rotation-type curriculum. We focus on nine lessons throughout the year, one lesson for 3 weeks each. Lessons include cooking, video, drama, music and science so special teachers are needed for these classes. Watch the bulletin board to sign up to teach these great kids.

Our program is mission focused and encourages our children to participate as they are able.  Our missions include Gifts for Children, Guatemala Mission Team, The Baldwin Community Food Pantry, Grace Place, His Arms Kenya, The Family Resource Center and The Baldwin Care Center.

Children, ages 3 years through 9th grade, are encouraged to attend Sunday School.  Sunday School for youth in grades 8 & 9 is considered part of confirmation.

Sunday School classes meet from 9:15 – 10:15 every Sunday in the classrooms in the church basement.

Sunday School newsletters are available monthly. They are distributed to the students and are available in the narthex.  Watch for special opportunties to give to the mission groups and for other needs.

CURRENT NEEDS (Sept. 2018) – We are looking for a co-teacher for 2nd grade.  We always need special teachers and substitute teachers throughout the year.
