The Dan Rowe Annual Memorial Walk-a-thon is aThrivent Action Project that will help gather funds to send students in Western Kenya to primary school and high school. We realize education is the only way these children can get out of extreme poverty and why we work hard to help educate.
Those interested can get a pledge sheet prior to that Sunday. All adults and children who raise at least $25, will receive a His Arms shirt. All participants will also receive a shirt from Thrivent.
We will walk outside at 9:15am on a designated path as we learn more about our friends in Kenya. The top three children from Sunday School that gather funds will receive a special gift from Africa.
