Would you like to learn what to do in the event of a farming, hunting, automobile, or industrial accident before trained medical personnel arrive? “Stop the Bleed” is a 2-part program designed to empower the public to make the difference in a life-threatening emergency by teaching the basics of bleeding control, including how to apply a tourniquet. There is an interactive online course and a hands-on course for wound packing and tourniquet applying. The hands-on course will be here at Peace Lutheran Church on Monday, April 15 at 6pm. It is a free course from Western Wisconsin Health, but registration is required before April 5th.
