Board of Trustees
Peace Lutheran Church
The following list includes the duties and responsibilities assigned to the members of the Board of Trustees at Peace Lutheran Church:
- Elect a chairperson, secretary and council representative annually in February
- Conduct regular meetings
- Appoint an auditing committee composed of two persons who are not members of the Board of Trustees
- Be responsible for the care and upkeep of the building & grounds
- Make necessary adjustments in the salary of the pastor and all support staff members within the limits of the budget with the assistance of the Staff Support Committee
- Prepare an annual budget for submission to the annual meeting
- Appoint and direct the activities of committees as needed
- Report its activities to the annual meeting of the congregation, and at such other times as the congregation may decide
